MBONE: Multicasting Tomorrow's Internet

The Research Events

On the Internet, researchers often use the MBONE for exchanging ideas and working with remote colleagues.

Seminars from the MICE project are an example of research events. MICE is a research project at UCL, in England. It stands for Multimedia Integrated Conferencing for Europe, and its goal is to develop a multimedia conferencing platform -- in fact this project has been a major contributor to the development of the MBONE. The MICE staff regularly presents seminars about various topics related to networking and computing.
